Steve Sear
Steve Sear E.V.P. - Global Sales and Distribution Steve Sear is Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Distribution for Delta Air Lines, leading the teams that oversee worldwide customer relationships and programs with corporations, travel management companies, distribution partners and cargo logistics providers. Prior to his current role, Steve served as Delta’s President – International, where he was responsible for the airline’s Asia Pacific, Atlantic and Latin regions as well as Delta’s global alliances strategy including SkyTeam leadership and joint venture partner development. Earlier in his career as Senior Vice President, Steve oversaw Delta’s Reservation Sales and Customer Care teams and served as the CEO of Delta Vacations. As a 30-year industry veteran, Steve began his career with Delta in 2008 as the Vice President of Global Sales. Steve has helped lead Delta to numerous industry awards, including being named the No. 1 carrier in the Business Travel News Airline Survey for 12 years in a row. He was also named one of the 25 Most Influential Business Travel Executives by the publication. Under his direction, Delta Reservations was recognized for customer service excellence under the J.D. Power Contact Center Program and Delta Vacations earned its first ever “Best Tour Operator” award from Travel Weekly. Before joining Delta, Steve held various leadership positions at Northwest Airlines, including Vice President of Sales and Customer Care, Managing Director of Reservations, and Japan-based Director of Revenue Management and Distribution. Steve currently sits on the Board of Governors for Junior Achievement Worldwide, having previously served on the Board of Directors for Virgin Atlantic Airways, Board of Directors for United Way of Greater Atlanta as well as the Board of Visitors for DePauw University. He is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta and is active in the Global Business Travel Association. Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from DePauw University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Erik Snell
Erik Snell Senior Vice President – Airport Customer Service (ACS), Cargo Operations, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and Global Clean Erik Snell is Senior Vice President - Airport Customer Service (ACS), Cargo Operations, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and Global Clean. He leads Delta's largest frontline operating group, including above and below-wing ACS employees, Delta Sky Club agents, and teams responsible for GSE, aircraft cleaning, and tower and cargo operations. Erik served most recently as the company's S.V.P. - Operations & Customer Center, Operations Analytics, and Delta Connection, with responsibility for Delta's worldwide operations. He also led Delta's Operation Analytics & Performance organization, which seeks to improve Delta's operations and customer service performance through data-focused analysis and decision-making. Erik joined Delta in 2005. His 17-year career includes roles in Finance, ACS, Delta Connection, TechOps, and former Delta subsidiaries Delta Global Service and Delta Private Jets. Earlier in his career, Erik managed investment portfolios for individual clients at SunTrust Bank in Atlanta.
Rob Walpole
Rob Walpole Vice President – Cargo Rob Walpole is Vice President of Delta Cargo and leads a team of 1,500 employees across the globe. He is responsible for driving the division’s continuous improvement to ensure superior commercial, financial and operational performance – taking Delta Cargo’s industry-leading position to new heights. Rob joined Delta Air Lines in 2019 as Vice President of Cargo Operations and Logistics. During this time, he delivered world-class operations capability and service levels for our customers. He also implemented innovative programs focused on new products and services to support supply chain demands of the future and led the team charged with optimizing internal logistics capabilities across Delta. Prior to joining Delta, Rob served as Chief Operating Officer – Global Logistics and Supply Chain at DP World, a Dubai-based global port operator. He also spent 11 years with the global logistics company, DB Schenker, most recently as CEO of their USA business. Rob has spent time in Singapore in various leadership roles and began his career in Australia in the energy sector in a variety of manufacturing and supply chain positions at Exxon-Mobil. Rob holds an Honors Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland and an MBA in International Business from Monash University, Australia.
Vishal Bhatnagar
Vishal Bhatnagar Managing Director – Operations Vishal Bhatnagar is Managing Director of Cargo Operations and leads operational, safety and people priorities. Vishal joined Delta in 2017 as Director of the Cargo Control Center, and he led the center since inception to the robust operational team it is today. He has also been responsible for the Cargo Customer Service Centers, worldwide trucking operations, ULD management, global logistics and trade compliance. Vishal has extensive global operational experience in the cargo industry having spent more than 20 years at Lufthansa. He joined as a Cargo agent and progressed to Cargo Supervisor and eventually to Head of Operations – the Americas. Vishal earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from Delhi University and his MBA at the ESMT European School of Management and Technology.
Michael Bowman
Michael Bowman Managing Director – Cargo Market & Sales Development, Alliances, and Marketing Communications Michael Bowman is Managing Director of Cargo Market & Sales Development, Alliances, and Marketing Communications, leading initiatives across the business to grow our worldwide Cargo revenue and position in the marketplace. Michael began his career at Delta in 2008 in Revenue Management, and he has held roles of increasing responsibility in Finance, Latin & APAC Business Units, and Global Sales. Prior to joining Delta Cargo, he served as Director of Global Sales Performance in Global Sales, leading the division’s efforts to analyze market trends and capitalize on opportunities to grow corporate revenue and share. Michael holds a BBA in Finance & International Business from Emory University.
Alison Ricker
Alison Ricker Managing Director – Cargo Global Sales Alison Ricker joined Delta in 2023 as Managing Director of Delta Cargo Global Sales and leads the global sales and product teams within the Delta Cargo organization. Alison has more than 25 years of experience in the logistics and airline industry, including her most recent role as Head of Customer and Sales Transformation at the LSG Group, a leader in airline catering and onboard retail. Previously, she was responsible for leading the Global Sales and Key Account teams for the Americas under Lufthansa Cargo and also served as Head of International Sales Europe at LSG Group based in Germany. Alison holds a Bachelor of International Relations from the University of British Columbia and a Masters in International Trade Management from the University of Valencia.
